STELLA GRASSMAN

In my opinion Stella Grassman was one of the most beautiful heavily tattooed women of the past. Her and her husband Deafy were  both tattoo artists and worked in a shop they owned both in Philadelphia and on the Bowery in New York. Stella worked as a Tattooed Lady in the late 1920’s. She worked many shows throughout the years including the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, Huberts Museum, and the Harry Lewiston Museum.
